Long-Term Care Homes
About this resource
Northern Health's residential care facilities provide 24-hour professional care and supervision in a protective, supportive environment for people who have complex care needs and can no longer be cared for in their own homes.
Clients are assessed for residential care by a case manager, either in the client's home or in the hospital, depending on the situation. Assessments include a review of financial information to determine the client rate to be paid.
